Their combos are pretty good value especially when most other places charge 6-8 bucks for gyoza. Ramen itself is on the lighter side. Curry was sweet like usual japanese curry. The japanese lady who served me was quite sweet as well.

A cozy and tasty late-night ramen spot with no frills but excellent service! I came here with some friends to get the LeBlanc curry set for the Sega collab, and I was pleasantly surprised at the taste of the curry from a place called Mr. Ramen. I got the chicken version because I believe they were out of beef, but it was still pretty good. It had a bit of a kick and ginger-like flavor that definitely would've tasted great with a drink. Even better than the food, the service was great! Food came out fast, and the staff were super personable, kind, and joked around with us a bit. Overall, I had a good time and definitely would come back.

What I ate: Ramen Combination #6 - $16.95 which consists of your choice of Ramen & Gyoza (4pcs) & Small Side of Curry Rice Diet Coke - $2.50 Good rice, good soup, it really hit the spot late at night, you know what I mean! Our server Julian was attentive; he noticed that we needed hot sauce without asking! Sauce, oil, and powdered chilis- anything you need my man has got it. He also had some trivia about what or who is the Mr. Ramen logo (it’s not a penguin or frog) and he also showed me some shoegaze music I hadn’t heard. It was playing on their shoegaze playlist blasting over the store PA.

Absolutely delicious ramen and a super friendly and cozy atmosphere. The tonkotsu ramen had a wonderfully deep and sophisticated broth and the shoyu base fried chicken ramen was one of the best bowls of soup I’ve ever eaten. Gyozas were perfect as well. It was pretty quiet when we came in but quickly got busy, nevertheless the staff were very attentive and took great care of us. We were just visiting town wandering around little Tokyo trying to guess the best Ramen shop in the neighborhood and I think we chose wisely.

We showed up on a whim, all six of us. We pass by this place everyday. We brought half the team for lunch. There were people seated everywhere. I didn't want to be creepy and start snapping photos of the decor with customers in awkward positions- Tonkotsu ramen noodles hanging out of their mouths, some sucking down yummy spicy garlic edamame, others pounding a pint of Orion beer. Look at the photos on Google. It's dripping in Animé! Then the little Japanese ladies come to your table with their cute, thick accents. The pictures of the food on the menu were intense. I could have tried everything if I was rich. We ordered gyoza and edamame to start. Then came the beef ramen, Tonkotsu ramen, and bento plates. The food arrived in about 15 minutes. It was all correct and we ate. The prices were more affordable than we expected. We found $4 meter parking. There was no wait for seating. It was a delicious and fun bonding experience. Check out my apprentice trying to handle chopsticks for the first time. 🤣😂
